Meaning, your hormones/internal stress level is PART of what decides whether you actually end up in a caloric deficit, or not.

It’s not JUST about the amount of calories you’re eating or how many you’re burning through exercise.

But, ALSO…

The overall hormonal state of your body and how this is affecting HOW THE CALORIES ARE BEING USED AND BURNED/“CALCULATED” in your body…

AKA whether you ACTUALLY end up in a caloric deficit or not.

***Hence why menopause is so tricky! But, that’s a whole other topic for later :)***
